The Chamber of Deputies is the lower house of the bicameral (i.e. two chamber) Italian Parliament, the Italian Parliament being the legislative branch of the Italian Republic.

The President of the Chamber
The President of the Chamber of Deputies is the third highest position in the Italian Republic, behind the President of the Senate and the President of the Republic respectively.
Recent Reform
The Chamber of Deputies, under Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte, legislated to reduce the seats in the Chamber from 630 to 400.
