Overview
The Prime Minister of Italy, officially known as the "President of the Council of Ministers", is the head of the Italian Government, with the Head of State being the President of Italy. The Prime Minister lives in the Chigi Palace (
Palazzo Chigi), which is located in Rome.

The Prime Minister, being the 'problem solver' (i.e.
nevralgico) of internal activity, is responsible for the unity of the political and administrative direction of the Italian Government, this includes coordinating the Council of Ministers.
